In response to the above construction environment and actual needs, Ericco inertial system today launched a new MEMS mining north seeker  ER-MNS-09, achieving a breakthrough in the appearance and size of the traditional north seeker. Its size is 110mm xΦ30mm, weight ≤150g, angle measurement range of -90° to 90°, can be in a smaller diameter, in a wider full temperature range, accurate output of angular rate information and acceleration information.

 

2.The north finding system composition

This north finding system can provide strong support for customers to solve the azimuth Angle, attitude Angle, position and other information. Secondly, it can complete the initial alignment and attitude holding functions, and output the carrier attitude reference value in real time. It mainly includes three-axis MEMS gyroscope and three-axis MEMS accelerometer, data acquisition and its professional navigation software, which can provide the position and attitude information of the carrier movement.

 

The two inertial sensors are installed according to the three positive directions of the carrier coordinate system. The three-axis MEMS gyro is used to measure the angular velocity components of the three axes of the carrier motion relative to the inertial coordinate system. Three-axis acceleration component. The system mainly uses the strapdown attitude matrix to complete the linear acceleration component. The strapdown attitude matrix is used to complete the coordinate transformation, and the linear acceleration along the three axes of the carrier coordinate system is transformed into the linear acceleration along the three axes of the navigation coordinate system, and the velocity and position parameters of the carrier are obtained by solving. The angular velocity component along the three axes of the carrier coordinate system is converted into the angular velocity component along the three axes of the navigation coordinate system, and the attitude parameters of the carrier are obtained by solving.
