FOG Strapdown Attitude Heading Reference System
Introduction
The FOG Strapdown Attitude Heading Reference System consists of a closed-loop fiber optic gyroscope (ER-AHRS-10 uses an ultra-small closed-loop fiber optic gyroscope) and a quartz flexible accelerometer as the core inertial elements, aligned or initially self-aligned by the external input heading. It has the characteristics of small size, light weight, and high reliability.
The coordinated attitude system is realized through satellite signal combination correction the during flight. The product can work in a pure inertial attitude state or a satellite signal combined attitude state, and simultaneously output three-axis high-precision angular rate and linear acceleration signals (ER-AHRS-10 not combined). It can provide aircraft attitude, heading, position, speed, acceleration, angular velocity and other flight status parameters for cockpit display, aircraft control, radar antenna platform and other systems.
The difference between the attitude reference system and IMU is that the attitude reference system (AHRS) contains an embedded attitude data solving unit and heading information, while the IMU only provides sensor data and does not have the function of providing accurate and reliable attitude data.
