MWD wireless inclinometer is a new type of measurement while drilling instrument developed on the basis of the cable while drilling inclinometer. The main difference is that the downhole measurement data is transmitted wirelessly compared with the wired LWD inclinometer .
Wireless MWD is divided into mud pulse, electromagnetic wave, sound wave and optical fiber according to transmission channels. Among them, mud pulse and electromagnetic wave methods have been applied to the production practice, and the most widely used is the mud pulse type.
