At present, there are a total of 45 Beidou satellites, 31 satellites relative to GPS, which have already surpassed the number of satellites, and gradually showed advantages in positioning accuracy and positioning speed. The Beidou navigation system will eventually be able to provide positioning with an accuracy of 1 meter or more, while the current GPS positioning accuracy is 2.2 meters; assuming an enhanced system, the accuracy of Beidou navigation will be increased to the centimeter level. The Beidou system has been widely used in more than a dozen industries such as transportation, maritime, electric power, civil affairs, meteorology and fishery, and has also been applied in emerging markets such as intelligent networked cars, civil aviation, and ocean observation.
