From May 29th to June 3rd, the Baishan Ship and the Wuzhishan Ship, a squad leader of the Southern Theater Warfare, conducted a three-dimensional landing course in a certain sea area of the South China Sea.
The Changbai Mountain Ship and the Wuzhishan Ship belong to the Type 071 dock landing ship developed by China. The ship has a length of 210 meters, a width of 28 meters and a full displacement of more than 20,000 tons. According to the latest public report of CCTV, the full load of the Wuzhishan ship can reach 29000 tons, equivalent to a light aircraft carrier. The ship can be used as the mother ship of the air-cushion landing craft to transport soldiers, infantry fighting vehicles, main battle tanks, etc., and can also carry amphibious combat vehicles, with large helicopter landing deck and operational capabilities.
