The Zhurong Rover Transmitted Telemetry Data from the Orbiter for the First Time

The China National Space Administration (CNSA) has learned that at 8 o ‘clock on May 17, the Tianwen 1 orbiter implemented its fourth near-fire braking and successfully entered an 8.2 hour relay communication orbit.In this stage, the main work of the orbiter is to do the “messenger” between the earth and Mars, to carry out the “earth fire book”.

At present, the Zhurong spacecraft is carrying out environmental awareness and state inspection as planned, and all systems are working normally.On May 17, the two spacecraft established a communication link, transmitting telemetry data from the orbiter for the first time.
