As the news from the 18th China International Industry Fair, Shanghai, the first AIS satellite for business will be launched at Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in 2017. AIS is shorter from Automatic Identification System and it is important for Maritime supervision. In recent years, USA, Canada and European had rapidly development in AIS system area and they had built Global AIS system as well.
The first AIS business satellite will be designed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and the model was showed at the 18th CIIF,Shanghai. The weight of the model is 30KG with long term power consumption 40W, max loads of quality 45 KG, max long term power consumption 60 W and the max date transfer rate 120 M.
As the reported, the AIS business satellite will be loaded the international advanced level AIS receiver,in order to collect ship`s details while sailing such as position & signal, and transfer it to local station, to achieve the ship supervision at sea. The satellite will decoding 200 million messages which collected from 60,000 ships each day once it works.
