China Successfully Launched a Remote Sensing Satellite No. 34

BEIJING, April 30, 2021 (Xinhua) — China successfully launched the remote sensing satellite 34 into orbit on a Long March 4C carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 15:27 Beijing Time on April 30, 2021.

Remote Sensing Satellite No. 34 is an optical remote sensing satellite, which is mainly used in the fields of land survey, urban planning, land ownership confirmation, road network design, crop yield estimation, disaster prevention and reduction, etc. It can provide information guarantee for “One Belt And One Road” construction and so on.

The mission is the 368th flight of the Long March family of carrier rockets.
