Chang Erding Rocket Successfully Launched With Four Arrows

At 10:53 on January 15, China used the Long March II Ding rocket at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center and successfully sent Jilin No. 1 wide 01 star and 3 small satellites into the predetermined orbit. The launch mission was a complete success.

In addition to the Jilin No. 1 wide 01 star for this launch, the three small satellites carried by China Great Wall Industry Group Co., Ltd. affiliated to China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. on this mission are the eight academies of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. The 805 constellation of low-orbit IoT satellites undertaken by Shanghai AES Space Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of 805, and the NewSat-7 and NewSat-8 low-orbit remote sensing satellites designed, manufactured and tested by Argentina's Satellogic.

The Apocalypse Constellation 05 is the "first mover" in the Apocalypse satellite constellation plan, moving from a test star to a standard application star. In the future, global seamless coverage will be achieved through a low-orbit IoT constellation composed of multiple low-orbit satellites.

The cooperation between Argentina's Satellogic and the Long March II Ding rocket started as early as 2013. On April 26, the Long March II Ding rocket successfully launched the company's first cubic satellite for technical verification. Since then, on February 2, 2018, the Long March II D again successfully sent the NewSat-4 and NewSat-5 satellites into the predetermined orbit, laying a good foundation for the subsequent batch procurement and cooperation of the launch mission.

The Long March II D rocket used in this launch is a normal-temperature liquid secondary carrier rocket developed by the Eighth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It has single- and multi-satellite launch capabilities. This is also the first time that the Long March No. 2 D rocket uses a 3.8-meter satellite fairing at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center.

The "Golden Rocket" Long March II Ding has frequently appeared on the international stage for its superior performance, high reliability, and good economy. Since September 29, 2012, the Long March No. 2 Ding rocket has performed international commercial launches for the first time and has successfully carried out satellite launch missions such as Venezuelan remote sensing satellites and SaudiSat-5. A total of 18 international satellites have been successfully launched and the rocket has been established. Brand on the international launch market.
