In Zhang Gong's view, based on Beidou system, its increasingly accurate positioning will have an impact on the development of the next generation Internet of things.

"The development of the Internet of things needs a lot of data storage, exchange and communication, and 5g communication technology can support its realization; it provides higher precision positioning. In the future, with the continuous application of Beidou system, location-based services will be more convenient and efficient." Zhang Gong said.
