The 2018 Academic Forum on Coal Mining Technology and Equipment Development was held on August 31 at the Taishan International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Zeng Baowei, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and executive deputy mayor, said: Taian City has determined the ten supporting industries for the conversion of old and new kinetic energy, and adopted the "six one" working mechanism. Among them, the modern equipment manufacturing industry with coal machinery and mining equipment manufacturing as an important content is one of the top ten industries. At present, there are more than 300 coal mining and mining equipment industries in Tai'an, including 80 enterprises above designated size, and the featured products cover the entire industry chain. This forum explores the latest concepts, latest models and latest achievements in the exchange of mining equipment and technology, and builds a good platform for learning from the industry. Taian City will use this as an opportunity to further innovate ideas, strive to catch up, and promote the mining equipment industry to a new level.
Qiao Naijun, Director of the Provincial Coal Industry Bureau, attended the forum. Wang Guofa, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, gave a special lecture on the topic "The development and prospects of China's coal industry and coal mining equipment technology." Qu Xianming, director of the Manufacturing Research Office of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, gave a keynote report on “Intelligent Transformation and Upgrade of Equipment Manufacturing”.
