Application

Inclinometer

The inclinometer is typically installed in a vertical borehole that passes through the unstable soil layer to the lower stable formation. Use digital vertical motion inclinometer probes, control cables, pulleys and readers to observe the deformation of the inclinometer. The first observation can establish the initial section of the inclined tube displacement. Subsequent observations will show changes in the displacement of the section as the surface moves. During the observation, the probe moves from the bottom of the inclinometer to the top, pauses at a half-meter spacing and performs the measurement tilting operation. The tilt of the probe is measured by two force-balanced servo accelerometers. An accelerometer measures the longitudinal position of the inclined tube groove, ie the inclination of the plane of the measuring wheel on the inclinometer probe. Another accelerometer measures the inclination perpendicular to the plane of the measuring wheel. The inclination can be converted into a lateral displacement. Comparing the current and initial observations, the amount of change in the lateral offset can be determined, showing the motion displacement that occurs in the formation. Draw the amount of change in the offset to get a high-resolution displacement profile. This section helps determine the magnitude, depth, direction and velocity of ground motion displacement
