Laser Gyro Structure

The optical loop of the laser gyro is actually an optical oscillator. The triangular cavity is divided into a triangular gyro and a square gyro according to the shape of the optical cavity. The cavity structure is composed of a modular type and an integral type. Generally, the triangular laser gyro is used most. The structure of a typical laser gyro is such that its base is a triangular ceramic glass with a low expansion coefficient, on which an equilateral triangular cavity is machined, and the gyroscope is composed of such a closed triangular cavity, the side of the triangle an output mirror, a control mirror and a bias mirror, are mounted on each corner, and a plasma tube filled with a low-pressure helium gas mixture is mounted on one side of the triangle.
