Application Case

ER-E2 High Temperature Resistance Dynamically Tuned Gyro

ER-E2 is specially designed for borehole drilling field which has overcame the following technical difficulties, especially its operating temperature up to 100 degree centigrade. Inertial devices are more adaptable and better applied in the drilling field than they are in aviation field due to its ability of working in poor conditions. The life of DTG and its adaptation in temperature are specified, especially when it was used in higher temperature.

Exchange our ER-E2 to the customer's continuous north-seeking gyroscope tool.

The application condition of using the gyro as the customer's geological tool is as follows: the probe is built up to 55mm in diameter for drilling, the probe is operated up to 500m deep, the power supply is 35V DC, and the standard current is 100 mA.
(1) the performance of the gyroscope concerned by the customer is as follows:
Outside diameter: 29mm,
Temperature range: -10 ~ 100c.
Maximum working power: 4W
Power supply of the gyroscope: 12V, 400Hz; Plus or minus 15 v DC; + 5 v, 16 KHZ
Electronic board: 200 * 30 (length * width)
Electronic board power supply: 15V, DC. Current: 800mA.
When using our electronic board, the customer needs to prepare two power supplies of 12V ~ 15V, DC.

(2) the information about NS-DTG2 PCB is as follows:
The output of ER-E2 gyroscope is the analog voltage output, which is proportional to the angular velocity. The angular velocity can be obtained by collecting the voltage value and dividing the voltage value by the proportional factor. The customer needs to do some calculations to get the proportional factor between the azimuth data and the compass data, and then we can get the angular velocity. The customer needs to do some calculations to get azimuth data and compass data.
