Basic Classification of Measurement While Drilling Instruments

The MWD wireless LWD inclinometer is a new type of measurement while drilling instrument developed on the basis of the cable-while-weeping inclinometer. The main difference between it and the wired LWD inclinometer is that the downhole measurement data is transmitted wirelessly. Wireless MWD is divided into mud pulse, electromagnetic wave, sound wave and fiber in four ways according to the transmission channel. Among them, mud pulse and electromagnetic wave methods have been applied to the production practice, and the most widely used is the mud pulse type.
